Abstract

This research show the impotance of a green belt could have inside a monoculture region as the sugar cane ones. The measurement of the basic basket at free markets allows understand this reality. The comparison of the Alagoas cities of Arapiraca, Capela and Maceió shows clearly differences in the power of purchase of the local populations.
