Alternative sources strengthen energy matrix

Abstract

The article has for objective to present the results of public hearings dealing with expanding brazilian energy matrix empahising biomass and wind power. Evolution of the public policy of brazilian electricity sector is in the direction of integrating the sources, agents and actors and, especially to integrate the energy and agricultural policies. The method used was of comparative analysis of public policy alternatives that involves the follow-up of various actors, interest groups and individual issues. It is concluded that advance was made with the formulation of a substitutive Law nº 630, of 2003 based on accumulated experience of the process of interaction of the State with the civil society.
