The golden mosaic disease of bean is one of the main causes of losses in bean production in Brazil. From data of scientific publications deposited in the Scopus platform the work analyzes networks of international collaborations in research focused on the problem of the golden mosaic of the bean. The main objective of the article is to identify the main countries, research organizations and scientists with works in this area. In addition, the study classifies and analyzes the main lines of scientific research related to the gold mosaic virus of the bean plant in the world. It was verified that the Brazilian research plays a central role in the search for biotechnologies that give the plants resistance to the virus that causes the disease. In other countries the concentration of efforts in the search for solutions to the golden mosaic problem follows strategies focused on the conventional improvement of bean cultivars. Considering the three levels of representation of the scientific production network (macro / countries, meso / organizations and micro / individuals), Brazilian research assumes a central role in the most disaggregated versions of the network.Downloads
