Comparison between the politics of coffee in Brazil and Ethiopia since 1990

This paper aims to compare coffee policy and production between Brazil and Ethiopia during the coffee-market deregulation in course since the 1990s. Secondary dataset as well as available literature are used to achieve this objective. Despite some similarities, the study concluded that both countries cannot be considered as competitors into the international market of coffee, because their market-orientation and production structure of coffee are different.Downloads
