This study seeks to analyze the importance of the agricultural trade policy in Brazil for economic development, discussing issues such as food safety, poverty and inequality reduction, employment creation, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, and environmental sustainability. The study aims to understand the contributions of Brazil’s agricultural trade policy for sustainable development. As a hypothesis, it is understood that agricultural trade policy can be an important tool for development, reduction of inequalities, and sustainable management of natural resources in Brazil.Downloads
