Relação entre os preços da borracha natural nos mercados doméstico e internacional

Abstract

This work aimed to analyze the natural rubber price relation between international and domestic markets, from January 2000 to May 2007. For this, Johansen’s co-integration test and unit roost test were used, as well as the estimation and analysis of vector error correction model (VEC). The results indicated that a huge percentage of variations of natural rubber prices in Malaysia, in the long term, were transferred to the domestic market, in the period from January 2000 to May 2007, and that the Law of One Price is not perfectly verified in the natural rubber market.
