The problems in agriculture and the transformation in agricultural policy

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to point out some current issues for a wide discussion among agricultural agents. The problems related to agricultural biodiversity, farmers’ rights and the present agricultural model are highlighted as part of the change process of transforming paradigms that affect policies, plans, programs and tools used in agriculture.
