Abstract

The general objective of the article is to characterize and analyze the evolution of private agribusiness financing instruments, seeking to understand and describe each of the agricultural credit titles which are: CPR (Rural Producer Certificate) Physical & Financial, CDA (Agricultural Deposit Certificate), WA (Agricultural Warrant), CDCA (Agribusiness Credit Rights Certificates), LCA (Agribusiness Credit Bill) and CRA (Agribusiness Receivables Certificate). The specific objectives of the article are: a) to conceptualize and specify the private instruments for financing agribusiness; b) verify and analyze the quantity of these securities, financial volume, value of each of the securities, issue and trading in the period from 2014 to 2019. The research was characterized as exploratory and quantitative, through the collection of information from the bank statistical data from B3 and CETIP (Central for Custody and Financial Settlement of Securities). Thus, it can be said that the resources from the issuance of agribusiness credit bonds make it possible to reduce the dependence of companies in the sector for official rural credit. It was also possible to observe that through the analysis of the number of records, traded volumes, daily averages and stocks of private agribusiness financing bonds, there was a greater operationalization of LCA and CRA in the period included in this study.
