The aim was to know and to update the forest massif in Tocantins, in relation of planted area, and it was to provide data for the development of advertising campaigns, management techniques and application of technologies. The information about planted area, proprieties and planting were obtained through the collection of primary data (covering the entire state of Tocantins) and secondary data. With the data collected, the annual growth rate (AGR) was estimate for the new area with planting and of properties with these planting and this was done for the area accumulated with these plantations, too.
