Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the influence of Dutch market of flowers and plants in the lilies Brazilian market called Companhia de Entrepostos e Armazéns Gerais do Estado de São Paulo (Ceagesp), between January 2004 and December 2016. The time series approach was used to evaluate the possible relationships between the prices of Brazilian lily and the flowers from the Netherlands. As Netherlands is a major exporter in the international floriculture chain, the results show that the changes in the Dutch prices of flowers and plants have an impact on lily price at Ceagesp market.
