Abstract

Fertilizers represent more than 40% of the total cost of production of soybeans and corn in Mato Grosso (MT), which confirms the importance of this input for crops in the State. This article seeks to answer how the formation of the price of fertilizers used in Mato Grosso state, in particular the culture of soy, and had the main objective of investigating the influence of the prices of imported raw materials, agricultural commodities, such as soybeans and corn, and the price of oil, on the prices of Super Simple Phosphate - SSP and Super Triple Phosphate - TSP in Mato Grosso. The methodology used was Multiple Linear Regression analysis, and the parameters were estimated by Ordinary Least Squares. The results revealed that prices of international raw material, soybean, as well as the price of oil, influence on price formation of the SSP and TSP in Mato Grosso.
