Trump 2.0: Re(configurações) do comércio internacional

O objetivo deste artigo foi discutir o cenário geoeconômico pós-eleição de Donald Trump, em 2025, examinando o crescimento do protecionismo, as repercussões para a segurança alimentar e os impactos nas cadeias globais de valor, sobretudo no agronegócio e nos setores associados ao processo de transição energética. A análise aborda o aumento de tarifas e possíveis retaliações, evidenciando como essas práticas podem afetar preços, realocar fluxos comerciais e intensificar tensões diplomáticas. Avalia-se também a postura dos EUA em relação aos compromissos climáticos e às políticas ambientais, bem como o retrocesso na promoção de energias limpas. O texto explora, também, a posição do Brasil diante desses movimentos e as implicações para sua inserção comercial e estratégia climática. Por fim, aponta-se que, apesar do avanço do protecionismo, existem movimentos de adaptação e cooperação que podem atenuar riscos macroeconômicos e assegurar a estabilidade no fornecimento de alimentos.
